Jenny in Tulsa

It was a hot and sunny Sunday morning for my leg of the Inaugural Run Like Robot Virtual 5K. I decided to wait until Sunday morning because I had a yucky tummy bug that I wasn't quite over on Saturday. I ran on Riverside in beautiful Tulsa, Oklahoma with Jeff and Maddox there to support me. The first mile went well. I forgot to charge my watch so I have no idea what pace I was running which proved to be challenging for me. Clearly, I've become completely dependent on that thing. Around mile 1.25 we had a "mayday mayday, the tummy bug is not over" and uhhhhh I'm just real glad there was a bathroom nearby. The rest of the run was hot hot hot but it felt great to get out and sweat after being cooped up in bed for a couple days. I enjoyed the race and hope to be invited to participate again next year! Additionally, I tried to pose for a picture actually "running like a robot." Much easier said than done as evidenced in these pictures.
